I like to think of Typewriter as a more modern version of it. My app is very similar to MacDown, which actually was the editor I used the most before building my own. What would be the main benefits of switching?

You can export your document as PDF and print it directly from the preview. On Mac there's also an Open Quicky panel like Xcode (⌘ + ⌥ + O) to navigate with the keyboard. You can quickly navigate the headings of your document with the index panel. You can check them by navigating the editing toolbar on iOS or the menu bar on macOS. Most of them also have an assigned key combination, to write and edit your text without leaving your physical keyboard. Many shortcuts for editing and other actions are provided via the toolbar on top of the keyboard. You can pick different themes and fonts in the Preferences. Markdown syntax elements are colored to highlight them. It's reloaded as you type: on iPad and Mac you can keep it side-by-side with the editor, while on iPhone you can swipe horizontally to quickly switch between them. The Markdown file is previewed and the scroll position is automatically synchronized with the editor position. This also provides native sync for the documents saved in your iCloud Drive.
Typewriter is a document-based application, so you can open and edit files from all the locations registered in the Files app.

I've recently updated with more exporting options and a new toolbar on iOS, which makes formatting text very fast and easy. It's a vanilla editor for GitHub-Flavored-Markdown ( GFM) with lots of features. Typewriter is the app I've built (and used) for the past 6 months, since I've landed on the App Store.
